1. Who we are
AJM Kooheji Group B.S.C (C) (“AJM Kooheji Group”, “we”, “our”) is a Bahraini closed shareholding company headquartered at Building 1096, Road No. 6833, South Sehla, Kingdom of Bahrain. We operate this website (koohejigroup.com) and act as the data controller for personal data collected through it.

2. What personal data we collect
We collect only what you choose to give us and limited technical data:
- Contact enquiries — name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message, when you use our contact form or email us.
- Job applications — name, contact details, CV/résumé, cover letter, and any information you include when applying through our Careers page or job listings.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and referring site, collected automatically through our hosting provider and site analytics (see Cookies, section 6).
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18, and we do not collect payment information through this website.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
4. Who we share it with
- Our divisions — if your enquiry or application relates to a specific division (e.g., 3K – Kwik Kar Kare, Kooheji Furniture Factory, Hawar International School, Pearl Craft), we share it internally with that division so they can respond.
- Service providers — our website is hosted by Automattic Inc. (WordPress.com), and pages embed services from Google (Maps). These providers process limited technical data under their own privacy policies.
- Authorities — where required by Bahraini law or a competent authority.
We do not share your data with third parties for their marketing.
5. International transfers
Our hosting and email providers may store data on servers outside the Kingdom of Bahrain. Where data leaves Bahrain, we rely on the transfer provisions of the PDPL and our providers’ safeguards. By using the site you acknowledge this processing.
6. Cookies and analytics
The site uses a small number of cookies set by our hosting platform (WordPress.com) for security, load-balancing, and aggregate visitor statistics (Jetpack Stats). Embedded Google Maps may set its own cookies when loaded. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site will continue to work.
7. How long we keep data
- Contact enquiries: up to 24 months after the enquiry is closed.
- Job applications: up to 12 months after the recruitment decision, so we may consider you for future roles, unless you ask us to delete sooner.
- Technical logs: retained by our hosting provider per its standard schedule.
8. Your rights
Under the PDPL you may, at any time, ask us to: – access a copy of your personal data; – correct inaccurate data; – delete your data; – object to or restrict certain processing; – withdraw consent you previously gave.
Write to info@ajmkooheji.com with “Data Protection Request” in the subject line. We will respond within the timeframes set by the PDPL. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Authority of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
9. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures — HTTPS across the site, access controls, and hosting-level protections — to guard personal data against loss, misuse, or unauthorized access.
10. Third-party websites
Our division websites (3kbahrain.com, koohejifurniture.com, hawarschool.com, pearlcraftboats.com, ajkunity.com) and other linked sites have their own privacy policies. This policy covers koohejigroup.com only.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version; material changes will be highlighted on this page.
